From September 3rd to the 18th the Philadelphia Live Arts Festival and Philly Fringe will be presenting performance art around the city. The Live Arts Festival has selected 22 performances from local Philadelphians and artists from around the world to take place during these two weeks, while Philly Fringe is open to all Philadelphia performing artists to present their work.
Twenty-nine of the Philly Fringe shows will be held in and around the Kensington, Fishtown, and Port Richmond neighborhoods, including seven at the Walking Fish Theatre(2509 Frankford). (more…)

It is one night, you set up and break down the day of. No judging, no applications, just tell us you’re coming and as long as we have space, we give you space.”
