Even though the gray skies and barren trees aren’t inspiring, there will plenty to see, feel and taste on the avenue. Whether your a First Friday virgin or a seasoned veteran, these local entrepreneurs make you feel right at home.

Walking Fish Theatre
2509 Frankford, ‘A Very Obnoxious Equinox’, celebrates the upcoming March equinox with live and prerecorded sketch comedy from the Dependable Falons. Two ninety minute sketch shows will take place at 8 pm and 10:30 pm.
Piranha Betty’s Art Market
2472 Frankford, Visionary artist and astrologer David Arson will make his debut at this local artists market and gallery. Musical performances by Sarah Donner, Michael Batchelor, Bevan McShea and others.
Atlantis: The Lost Bar
2442 Frankford, Olivia Danielle Vaughn, a freelance photographer, focuses on portrait, fashion, product, travel and concert photography. A Fishtown resident, this show takes a closer look at the beauty and perfection of some of the plants and vegetables we come into contact with on a regular basis.
Skybox at 2424 Studios
2424 East York, GO FESTIVE! will be hosting it’s BATTLE BLAST Mobile Laser Tag Launch Party. What?! This new party phenomenon allows players to run, jump, and crawl their way to victory almost anywhere. Open to the public between 4:30 pm – 8:30 pm. All ages welcome!

Part Time Studios
2031 Frankford, Artistic duo entitled Croque Madame and their photographs, music and paintings will be on display. This powerful pair, Melissa Farely and Kathryn D. Moran, will premiere their first album, “C’est Tout, C’est Finit” at this opening.
F&N Gallery
