The streetscape is nearly complete, its getting dark at 5 pm and the mornings have been a bit chilly.  It’s almost December and that means it’s time for Frankford and Girard Avenues’ Holiday Walk!  On Friday December 3rd merchants up and down Girard, Frankford and inside the neighbrohood will open their doors to display gifts for sale and offer some holiday hospitality.  See below for a full list of participating merchants.

And new for 2010, NKCDC will team up with local artisans to offer our very own “Twelve Days of Local Holiday Shopping…Online”.  For each of the 12 days leading up to our December 3rd Holiday Walk, we will offer our online community a chance to purchase gifts from one of our ‘hoods fine establishments.  Stay tuned to this blog, or our Facebook page for each offering.

Late breaking news: Whipped Bakeshop  at 636 Belgrade St (right by Craft Foundry) has decided to join the fun by offering a 1/2 price cupcake with any purchase!
